About Earl Periera:
Earl Pereira, born on December 3, 1974, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is a renowned Canadian musician celebrated for his dynamic contributions to the rock, funk, and reggae genres. As a founding member and bassist of the acclaimed band Wide Mouth Mason, Pereira played a pivotal role in the band’s success, achieving two gold records and earning three Juno Award nominations.
During his tenure with Wide Mouth Mason, Pereira toured extensively, sharing stages with iconic artists such as the Rolling Stones, AC/DC, and Nelly Furtado. His exceptional bass skills garnered recognition, with Canadian Musician Magazine naming him one of Canada’s top bass players.
In 2010, Pereira ventured into new musical territory by forming The Steadies, a band that blends rock, funk, and reggae into a unique and energetic sound. As the lead vocalist and bassist, he continues to captivate audiences with his engaging performances and innovative musical style.
